It is a Government-run scheme, which collects, assesses and monitors standard company information ranging from health and safety documentation, company finances and training policies. BM Trada: Q-Mark Certification
BM Trada: Q-Mark Certification BM Trada is a UK based, international certification body accredited by major bodies such as UKAS. Their widely recognised Q-Mark certification for installation and maintenance of fire doors demonstrates each member’s ability to supply, install and maintain fire doors to the required exacting standards. Each certified member is subjected to both a rigorous initial vetting process and regular ongoing checks to ensure that the quality of their work continues to meet standards. Their Q-Mark certification raises awareness of Fire Door installation, ensure the product’s fire resistance capabilities are maintained, provides peace of mind that the installer is suitably qualified and that their work is continually assessed by an independent body and equips specifiers with the means to demonstrate that the installation meets the required standard. Their Q-Mark Fire Door Maintenance certification ensures that participants are suitably qualified to carry out maintenance work to a standard that will allow the door to continue to perform as required and providing peace of mind that the contractor is consistently delivering a quality service through independent verification by a third party certification body. Using the same attention to detail in our fire door surveys that BM Trada demand for our maintenance work, our team can efficiently assess your fire doors to determine whether they can be maintained back to their originally intended fire rating by using BM Trada’s Accepted Repair Techniques. This removes any doubt in our maintenance work as the protocols used to survey and assess your doors is exactly the same as what would be used to rectify any non-conformities.

CHAS
Our most recent accreditation comes from CHAS (Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme). The CHAS health and safety assessment scheme is a pre-approval scheme to allow contractors to show potential clients that they meet the required health and safety standards.
